Winchester Model 1894 Takedown Rifle, #198775, .38-55 cal., 26'' octagonal barrel, blue finish, walnut stock and forend, case hardened crescent steel buttplate, standard front and rear sights. Mfg'd 1900. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 92% blue, with most of the losses to right side of frame and near muzzle. Case hardened lever and hammer retain approx. 95% vivid colors; buttplate has toned grey. Stock with light scuffs and scratches, with one 1'' gouge emanating from left side buttplate tang.
